Family Ministry at DBAC is the union of the church and home life of our families. We want to give families the tools to raise their children in Christ's love. Through the combined efforts of children's programming, our youth group, Momentum, and the involvement of the congregation, we hope to prepare the next generation to become who God wants them to be.
Canvas is the extension of DBAC to the Daytona Beach area colleges. Within the next few months, we hope to have weekly meetings on the campus of Daytona State as well as Embry Riddle. We want to help college students with the issues that come from living on your own, creating a new identity in Christ, or just figuring out what it looks like to love Jesus.
Suzanne was raised in the Daytona Beach area and graduated from Seabreeze High School. She then earned her Associate of Arts degree from Daytona Beach Community College where she graduated with Honors. A few years later she transferred to the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. Here she was a staff writer for and News Editor of "The Current," the top-ranking college newspaper in the state of Missouri. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, she remained in St. Louis working in marketing for McCallum Place, a nationally acclaimed eating disorders treatment center. Before returning to Florida in August, she volunteered her time to and was a member of GORC - Gateway Off Road Cyclists - in helping to build and maintain mountain biking, hiking, and equestrian trails in state parks throughout Saint Louis and Saint Charles Counties. Presently, she volunteers her time to COPE - the Community Outreach Program to Prevent Eating Disorders - by visiting middle schools throughout Volusia County and giving workshops to adolescent girls on body image and self-esteem. Personally, Suzanne loves spending her free time out of doors and is passionate about kayaking, cycling, hiking, and camping. She travels as much as possible and considers herself a citizen of the world.

More Than Just Another ChurchDaytona Beach Alliance Church is a church that is more than just a building and people. A church that is more than just programs and events. A church that is greater than the sum of its parts. A church that believes in the power of God to not only change lives, but to empower each changed life to integrated faith and action in the world for whom Jesus died. People must be constantly moving closer to Jesus Christ. Daytona Beach Alliance Church is committed to this purpose, so that people may know ‘immeasurably more’ what God has in store for them.Vision and MissionDaytona Beach Alliance Church is moving people from where they are to where God wants them to be. This is accomplished in three ways.Moving Before: Inspiring people to passionately and worshipfully move closer to Jesus.Moving Beside: Connecting people into a loving community that encourages each member to become who God created them to be.Moving Beyond: Looking beyond ourselves as we seek practical ways to share the life of Jesus both locally and globally.ValuesPassionate about the kingdom of God.Daytona Beach Alliance Church longs for the coming of God’s kingdom and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. In His kingdom, people from every tribe, every tongue, and every nation will worship and acknowledge Jesus Christ as the King of the Kingdom. A church should manifest the substance of God’s kingdom - grace, mercy, and love. In God’s kingdom, all people are equally valued and we actively pursue justice and righteousness. We live by tenants that define the kingdom - valuing relationships, unlimited creativity, and passionate worship. While we acknowledge that the fullness of the kingdom is indescribable, unexplainable, inconceivable, and unimaginable for us, we believe that the Church is God’s chosen vessel to bring His kingdom to earth. To be the Church that Jesus had in mind.Daytona Beach Alliance Church is globally influenced and influences globally. We relevantly engage society and intentionally seek to develop strategic partnerships to fulfill the great commission of Jesus. We are intentionally and actually concerned about the world, society, and each individual. We invite everyone to radically engage in the mission of Jesus.Cares about the soul of every person.Daytona Beach Alliance Church exist because all people matter to God. We long for people to relinquish their lives to Jesus and receive the healing and hope that He offers. We believe that as people follow Christ, our lives and our world will be radically transformed beyond our wildest dreams.
